SILVERTONE THIN TWIN
This is a Silvertone 1369L (Thin Twin: Jimmy Reed model), sunburst, semi-hollow body, electric guitar made by Kay of Chicago, IL between 1957-1958. The "Thin Twin" models were offered between 1955 and 1958 in the Sears catalogs. The 1955-56 models had a white engraved headstock while the 1957-58's had black. It's nickname comes from the two very thin pickups.

This is a 1965 Silvertone made by Teisco of Japan. This guitar has four pick ups that provide an incredible array of tones. It has a fully functional whammy bar and is a solid body. Its action is set fast.

1957 SILVERTONE 1319

Since we do not see the lower part of the guitar in the photo of Bob we do not know if it's a 1317 (one pick-up) or a 1319 (two pick-ups). Otherwise the two models are identical.
Silvertone was the brand name used by Sears, Roebuck and Company for its line of sound equipment from 1915 to 1972. The Silvertone name adorned guitars from several different manufacturers over the years, including Danelectro, National, Harmony, Kay andTeisco.
