3 Yamahas were bought in Japan at the very beginning of the 1978 tour...this one is the L-6 and will be the main acoustic guitar on stage for the next ten years...notice that this guitars are electro-acoustic ones an innovation for the time...you can tell the jack at the bottom of the guitar in this picture...the sound is amplified using this jack with a pickup inside the instrument and a microphone in front of the hole as it was placed till now...on years to come this mike will be definitely removed releasing the musician and the P.A. engineer...
